News! Over 2/3 funded, publisher interview & excerpt from the foreword, and upcoming AMA!
almost 8 years ago – Mon, Jun 06, 2016 at 04:04:37 PM

Hello all!

With almost two weeks to go we're already 2/3 funded and chugging along very nicely! Thank you so much for your support both in terms of pledges and social media shares. If you're tuned in to our Facebook, Tumblr, and other platforms you are probably being inundated with our posts marketing the Kickstarter. Thank you so much for bearing with our full bore marketing, we promise it will subside after June 15th!

In other news, Strix Publishing owner, Simon Berman, was interviewed by writer Aeryn Rudel for his Rejectomancy blog. In the interview Simon discusses why Strix chose to publish the Problem Glyphs art book and shares the first excerpt from Eliza Gauger's introduction to the book.

Finally, we're pleased to announce that Eliza Gauger will be hosting an AMA on Monday, June 6th, beginning at approximately 11 AM Pacific Time. The AMA will focus on both Problem Glyphs and Eliza's career as a professional artist. We hope we'll talk to many of you there!

In the meantime, we'd appreciate your continued support of the Kickstarter by sharing on Facebook, reblogging on Tumblr, and posting on Twitter, you can help ensure that the Problem Glyphs art book becomes a reality and maybe even unlock some of those additional goals that will make this edition an even more special book on your shelf.

Thanks to you we're almost in the home stretch!

Over halfway to funding!
almost 8 years ago – Fri, May 27, 2016 at 03:21:29 AM

Hello, everyone!

We're just over a week into the campaign and already well over halfway to our funding goal! In fact, we broke the halfway mark on day 5 and have been steadily gaining new backers since. All of our analytics suggest we are nicely on track to fund before the end of the campaign and possibly even reach some of our stretch goals (the first will be announced when we hit our goal). Thank you so much to all of you for your continued support.

In other news, the award winning Capitol Hill Seattle blog interviewed Problem Glyphs creator, Eliza Gauger, about the project and her [HEX OF OBSOLESCENCE] stickers. Read it now

We will be continuing our own promotions and have some cool things in the work that we'll announce soon, but we hope that we can count on your help in the meantime. By sharing on Facebook, reblogging on Tumblr, and posting on Twitter, you can help ensure that the Problem Glyphs art book becomes a reality and maybe even unlock some of those additional goals that will make this edition an even more special book on your shelf.

Thank you again, we remain humbled and overwhelmed by your love for the project.

An amazing first day!

Thank you so much for supporting the Problem Glyphs Kickstarter! In less than 24 hours we've already broken 25% of our funding goal (we're at 28% as of this update) and have had a tremendous response across the web. We have even received the "Projects We Love" badge from Kickstarter. You can see it on the front page of the campaign, just below the video. Kickstarter reserves this status for campaigns they think are especially noteworthy and we are very honored to have received the attention.

With 29 days to go we're on a great path to funding and possibly even unlocking some of the stretch goals we have in mind. We're going to continue to work hard to put the campaign in front of everyone we can, but any help we can get from you, our devoted backers, is going to amplify our efforts and ensure that we get the book. Your continued support by sharing on Facebook, reblogging on Tumblr, and posting on Twitter, is invaluable and we hope you'll continue to help boost our signal.

In the meantime, are there any questions you have for us about the book? We'd love to share anything we can. Let us know here or on any of our social media!

Thanks again, we're so grateful to you for your support!
